Club President's Message. Welcome to Rotary eClub One, Rotary’s first virtual Club. We have members in 14 countries and meet electronically every week. During a Rotary year, we implement many service projects. Some of them are planned, some came as reaction to the Covid-19 crisis.

Just like face-to-face clubs, Rotary e-clubs still come together for hands-on projects, volunteering and community activities to improve the lives of others. District 5450 Rotary's first eClub Chartered January 4th, 2002 Today, the Rotary Club of Chicago boasts nearly 200 members who continue to meet on a weekly basis, a dedicated Foundation (the ROTARY/One Foundation, Inc.), a vibrant calendar of guest speakers, and strong participation in service projects both in Chicago and across the world, the Rotary Club of Chicago is carrying forward the traditions and values that were first founded here over 115 years ago. Since Rotary eClub One is an Internet based club, we cannot draw on a local community for support of our service projects. The Make-Up Programs on our website are the primary fundraising means we have to support Rotary initiated service projects across the globe. The Rotary E-Club of One World was chartered on 29 May 2012 and our members span 5 continents; Africa, Asia, Europe, North America & South America. Our Rotary District 5240 consists of over 3000 members in 71 Rotary Clubs, nine Rotaract (young professional) Clubs, and 58 Interact (high school) clubs. Our E-Club is a dynamic club comprised of ordinary working and retired people who acknowledge that Rotarians are people who are generous with their time and their resources.
